MIXING
If we could describe mixing in one word it would be balance. It's the art of combining all the individual elements of a song using a variety of audio processing tools to achieve perfect harmony.
Save yourself the time and hassle of getting your song ready for release by hiring a professional mix engineer. Don't let a poor quality mix prevent your music from resonating with your fans.
Balance. Listen. Love.

WHY CHOOSE ME FOR YOUR NEXT PROJECT?
There are 2 common scenarios I hear from new clients. The first scenario involves a musician that records their own music, gets to the mixing and mastering stage, then quickly realizes that they have no idea how to get their music to sound like a commercial record. The other common scenario I encounter is a musician that has hired an "affordable" engineer to work on their music or, even more popular, they have a friend who will do it for free. When they finally get the final product after weeks of eagerly waiting, the song sounds nothing like they imagined. A complete waste of time and money.
Do either of those scenarios sound familiar to you?
Let's be honest, there's no shortage of engineers in this industry. What comes with too many choices is the unwanted stress of finding not only a skilled and proficient engineer, but also someone who has similar values and creative taste. I can't promise that we'll have the same creative taste, but I know I'll be doing everything in my power to support your art. I've listed below some of the qualities that set me apart from other engineers. I strongly believe you'll be ecstatic with the outcome of your music because I never settle for good enough.

DO YOU NEED EDITING?
Editing is an extremely important process performed prior to beginning a mix. It's the cleanup phase. There's nothing that will take an engineer out of the "mixing zone" like hearing an out-of-tune vocal or an offbeat drummer. This is why each track in a session undergoes a quality control check to ensure there are no problems that have gone unnoticed.
I offer a Complete Editing Package that covers all of the below editing tasks and anything else your song may need before we start your mix. Alternatively, you can add specific editing features as needed.

MIXING VS MASTERING
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
Mixing involves blending together all individual instruments, vocal tracks and sound effects to achieve a sense of depth, width and cohesion. A mix engineer uses a variety of audio processors like equalization, compression, reverbs, delays and many other effects on the individual elements within a song to achieve balance. Truly an art form all its own.
Mastering is focused on treating the song as a whole, not the individual elements within. It's ensuring that a song is played at the highest quality possible on all playback devices. Attentiveness and highly detailed listening paired with advanced processing techniques turn a great mix into an incredible listening experience for your fans.
Listen to the below examples of the differences between a mixed and mastered song.
